After a week away on holiday in Portugal I’ve got straight into things and accepted to speak at two events later in the year on affiliate marketing.
The first is with Ad:Tech London, on Thursday, 25th September
I’ve been asked to speak about engaging with your affiliates, aimed particular on my experience as an affiliate, working at an affiliate network and from being merchant for the past 3 years.
This will be in the style of a roundtable event, so plenty of opportunity to add to the debate on how to relate and reach out to your publishers to reward and grow your affiliate programme.
Affiliate marketing: Partnering for online success
The second is with A4UExpo, 14th & 15th October 2008. A4UExpo organiser and founder of affiliates4u Matt Wood, called and we discussed organising a session on ensuring senior management buy in for affiliate marketing within organisations. This will be aimed at both advertisers and agencies looking to start, manage and expand their affiliate marketing programmes.
This will be a panel event and I will be joined by Dan Powel (Head of Account Management, CJ), good friend Femi Omoluabi (Affiliate and Search Director, Zed Media) and Chris King (Head of Affiliates, BT).
Visit for more on A4Uexpo 2008 or to view the other affiliate marketing speakers.
If you have any topics or areas you would like me to look into for these events please feel free to let me know and I will see if I can incorporate these into the sessions and if you are attending by all means come and say hello!
